SVS-SVN-APMA Wound Care Curriculum – Online Module

Description
Developed in partnership by the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), including the PA Section, the Society for Vascular Nursing (SVN), and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), this interprofessional Wound Care Curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs of vascular care teams. The curriculum includes pre-and post tests for knowledge assessment, online module with 27 short on-demand videos, and hands-on workshops held in conjunction with the Vascular Annual Meeting (VAM) 2025, 2026, and 2027.

If your certifying board is the American Board of Surgery (ABS), your credit will automatically be transferred to the ABS for this activity within 24 hours of you completing the online module and claiming credit. 

Before claiming credit, you must make sure your SVS account First Name, Last Name, Birthdate (month/day), and ABS Board ID number match your ABS account exactly, or your credit will not transfer. Click here for information on how to update your SVS account to match your ABS account, and the SVS’s credit transfer process.

If you are accredited by a board other than the ABS, the SVS will not transfer credit on your behalf. Please download a certificate that will list your credit hours and follow up with your accrediting board.

The last day to claim CME for the SVS-SVN-APMA Wound Care Curriculum Online Module is February 17, 2028. Credit claiming, certificate download, and access to the module will not be available after this date.
