Summary
Renal vein stent embolization is reportedly as high as 7%, with potentially devastating central consequences. Techniques for endovascular retrieval remain sparsely described. We present a case of a successful laser-cut stent extraction from the inferior vena cava after migration from the renal vein, requiring a unique combination of devices and methods.
