Summary
Different methods for SCI prevention with sac perfusion are reported before completion of endovascular TAAA repair; however today there are no described techniques for sac re-perfusion in case of SCI occurring after complete exclusion (48-72 hrs). The "safe-line" technique allows for a simple and fast (within 1 hour from symptoms onset) sac reperfusion up to 72 hrs from completion, with no modification of the other standard protocols for SCI prevention.
